Infection Prevention Long-Term Care Facilities and Communal Setting Providers Open Office Hours
KFMC Health Improvement Partners, with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, hosts a monthly Open Office Hours about infection prevention and control practices for staff and representatives of long-term care facilities and communal settings providers. The 30-minute calls are held at 1:00 PM CT on the fourth Tuesday of January through October, 2023.

Kansas Health Equity Summit – Call for Poster Presentations
One of the goals of the Kansas Health Equity Summit is to provide participants with the opportunity to learn from what others are doing. We invite community organizations, academic institutions, provider organizations, and other interested partners to submit poster presentations to be shared with our Summit participants.

LTC Antimicrobial Stewardship Webinar series
The webinar series will be held the 3rd Thursday of the month, June through October 2023, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The presenter is Dr. Kelli Wark, MD, MPH. She is the HAI/AR Expert and Antimicrobial Stewardship Lead for KDHE and Assistant Professor of Infectious Disease at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Project Firstline Infection Prevention Regional Trainings Summer 2023
KFMC Health Improvement Partners has partnered with Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and Kansas Healthcare Collaborative to facilitate this in-person infection prevention education series for frontline and leadership staff (nurse aide, dietary, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, nursing, administration) in Kansas hospitals, long term care, and communal living facilities throughout the state of Kansas.
