TOPEKA, Kan. (Aug 16, 2022) — KFMC Health Improvement Partners (KFMC) is celebrating many milestones achieved in the past 50 years and commemorating its successful partnerships which have transformed the delivery of care in the evolving healthcare landscape. Since 1972, the KFMC team has been focused on bringing meaningful change and sustained high performance to health organizations nationwide.

“Across the state of Kansas, the Midwest region and nationally, our team has made an indelible mark on physician practices, hospitals, nursing homes and state agencies – and most importantly, patients,” said Sarah Irsik-Good, MHA, President and Chief Executive Officer. “We’re incredibly proud that our clients have confidence in the quality and value of the services we provide – as a health improvement partner of choice, now and for another 50 years.”

Based in Topeka, Kansas, located across the street from the state capitol, KFMC was founded as the Kansas Foundation for Medical Care, Inc., primarily to guide healthcare in Kansas. After years of extending their reach into the larger healthcare space, they expanded to serve first the greater Midwest and then the nation.

In 2021, the organization adopted KFMC Health Improvement Partners as its new name and refined its focus to four key service areas: Quality and Performance Improvement, Practice Transformation, Health Services and Clinical Care Review, and Advisory and Consulting Services.
