KFMC has released the results of its Rapid Response Staffing Support Center, funded by KDHE through the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity Cooperative Agreement, that provided emergency, temporary staffing support to long-term care facilities and state-licensed homes in response to COVID-19 outbreaks.

As we begin this new year, I am reflecting on what we heard from the Kansas community through the 2023 Health Equity Summit so we can continue to address the complexities of health equity, inspire meaningful change, and set a precedent for inclusive, collaborative efforts. Let us continue to challenge assumptions, break down barriers, and work collectively toward a future where health equity is not just an aspiration but an undeniable reality for all.
