Sarah Irsik-Good, MHA - President and CEO
Sarah leverages nearly 20 years of experience Photo of Sarah Irsik-Goodin the healthcare delivery system in furthering KFMC's mission to "lead innovation to improve the quality, effectiveness and safety of healthcare." Prior to her appointment as CEO, Sarah served as Director of Quality Improvement and then Vice President for KFMC, providing technical direction and operational leadership for the Medicare quality improvement work across Kansas. Prior to joining KFMC, Sarah served as the Risk & Quality Manager, Education Coordinator and Compliance Officer for Kearny County Hospital in Lakin, KS. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies with an emphasis in Health Care Operations from Kaplan University and her Master of Health Administration from Ohio University.

Lynne Valdivia, MSW, BSN, RNCCEP – Vice President
Lynne has more than 30 years of experience Photo of Lynne Valdivia in nursing, social welfare and health care quality improvement (i.e., acute care, pediatrics, long term care, home health care, care coordination, external quality review, child welfare, social work policy and administration); of this, over 20 years has been with KFMC. In addition to overall leadership and strategy, Lynne provides general oversight to the quality review, quality improvement and health information technology teams. She is also a certified compliance and ethics professional and provides guidance to the organization in those areas. Lynne earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas, and her Master of Social Work degree, with an emphasis on administration, from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas.

Betty Murrell, MBA - CFO
Betty Murrell joined KFMC as the Chief Financial Photo of Betty MurrellOfficer (CFO) on June 27, 2016. Prior to joining KFMC, Ms. Murrell served as the CFO for Flint Hills Community Health Center (FHCHC) in Emporia for ten years. During her tenure at FHCHC, Betty led the finance team, managed multiple federal and state grants and contracts, and assisted with implementing large-scale initiatives, including the FHCHC electronic health record. Prior to joining FHCHC, Betty was an Accounting Supervisor at Newman Regional Health for eight years. Betty received her Accounting and MBA degrees from Emporia State University.
