EHR Vendor Partners
KFMC is pleased to announce the following “EHR Vendor Partners” to our REC participants. All vendors below are understood to offer products that meet the minimum test of functionality, that have been certified as being capable of satisfying Stage I Meaningful Use criteria, and offer a comprehensive set of support services to both the Regional Extension Center and contracting providers.
By identifying the list of Tier One and Two vendors, the Kansas Electronic Medical Record Steering Committee does not endorse any vendor as ideally satisfying a provider’s functional requirements at a cost-effective price. The value judgment of how a particular vendor’s product satisfies a provider’s unique practice and price-point requirements is a judgment that only the provider can make. As the REC, we will work with ANY EHR vendor that our members choose. Our role is to provide data to our members, not to make the decision for them.
Through our partnership with Associated Purchasing Services, the below EHR Vendors have partnered with KFMC to offer the following contractual benefits to REC Kansas participants:
- Reduced equipment costs
- Reduced consulting support costs
- Reduced software costs
- Greater control over contract terms
- Pre-negotiated standard contracts
- Ensure functionality supports priority primary care providers
- Ensure unique requirement of safety net clinics are met
* To utilize the contracts you must alert the vendor by telling them you are a REC participant and want the APS contract.
| Tier 1 | Tier 2 |
Tier One vendors have demonstrated by their response to the Request for Proposal that they accept the terms, conditions and protections included within the Master Services and Supply Agreement and the numerous exhibits attached thereto either without modification, or with modifications that leave intent of those provisions intact.
Tier Two vendors have demonstrated by their response to the Request for Proposal that they accept most of the terms, conditions and protections included within the Master Services and Supply Agreement, but have insisted upon amendments to selected terms and provisions contained within the documents.
EHR Steering Committee:
KFMC would like to acknowledge the commitment of the members of the KFMC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Steering Committee, which includes representatives of the PPCPs actively practicing within our REC service area.
