Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS)
PQRS is a quality reporting initiative implemented by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). KFMC will support and engage eligible professionals (EPs) with qualified EHRs to begin participating in PQRS using EHR-based reporting. Participation in the PQRS project will include EHR reporting on at least three of the measures below:
- Influenza Immunization for Patients >= 50 Years Old
- Pneumonia Vaccination for Patients 65 Years and Older
- Screening Mammography
- Colorectal Cancer Screening
- Tobacco Use: Screening and Cessation Intervention
- Hypertension: Blood Pressure Measurement
