Donna Garwood, KFMC Project Manager, gives a brief history on KFMC, the 9th Statement of Work and KFMC's CHEQ-IT Project. She also discusses care management and briefly mentions measuring and reporting. Resources to help improve care are also discussed.
Arline Kirkus speaks on the report functionality of eMDs, providing specific information on how to run reports to meet the objectives of the CHEQ-IT Program. Ms. Kirkus' initial exposure to eMDS was in 2002 while she worked at a billing company in Georgia, doing billing for multiple physicians. While in this position, she traveled to many locations assisting physician offices with their eMDS billing. In 2005, she accepted a position in a large family practice group in order to transition that office's billing in-house. She is currently the office manager for the group and has a great deal of knowledge and experience regarding the reporting options and documentation issues involved.
