SCIP/HF Collaborative Kick-Off

Gather your team and join us for the SCIP/HF Kick-Off Collaborative meeting! We will focus on the importance of structuring processes within your facility to assist in successful delivery of evidence based care given to surgical patients. We are pleased to have our SCIP Champion, Dr. Carla Braxton provide an overview and enhance group problem solving concerning surgical infection and venous thromboembolism prevention. Discussion will include: leadership support, utilization of data for improvement, team roles, and the use of checklists and protocols. A SCIP Team from a Kansas hospital will wrap up the day with a presentation/panel discussion and share success stories and lessons learned.
