Practice Consultant
The Kansas Foundation for Medical Care, Inc. (KFMC) is currently accepting applications to fill a Kansas City-based, Practice Consultant position for our Regional Extension Center (REC) team.
This Kansas City-based position will work directly with healthcare providers to achieve the goals which focus on accelerating the adoption and meaningful use of certified EHR technology among Kansas providers.
This work includes project management for a defined set of providers in a geographic region whom the individual provides on-site, as well as distance support, as providers complete EHR practice readiness assessments, work-flow analysis, vendor evaluation, vendor selection, EHR implementation meeting meaningful use criteria, and participation in a HIE. This work requires travel and collaboration with providers, a multidisciplinary REC Team, and multiple stakeholders to accomplish the aggressive REC Program goals.
